Application Fee

  • For Single Paper:
    • General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000/-
    • SC / ST / PH: ₹500/-
  • For Both Papers (Primary and Junior):
    • General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200/-
    • SC / ST / PH: ₹600/-

Fee Payment Mode:
The examination fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.


Eligibility Criteria

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V)

  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
    OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
    OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with NCTE Regulations issued from time to time.
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
    OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
    OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed (Special Education).

Any candidate having qualified the B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. As per the existing guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, candidates pursuing any teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or RCI) are qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

Additionally, Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed program is also eligible.
